Spent an incredible day with Haley and Quaanan at the Barn on Jackson in Chehalis, Washington. In typical PNW style, the rain came and went, but luckily we caught a few windows of time where we were able to get outside and take some photos of the couple together. Jenna and Matt are absolutely hilarious. I laughed so hard with these two, it was a complete giggle storm out there. They are also incredibly warm and caring people, I saw this in their relationships with their friends and family, and also the way that they treated me throughout the day, I definitely didn't feel like a vendor at all, but like a friend who had brought along a camera.
They had a beautiful wedding at Blockhouse in Portland, a newer and really awesome venue in Portland. I'll let the photos tell the rest of the story...

I had a complete blast with Ally and Zach, they're both so kind and down to earth, and they had their wedding in Ally's parents back yard which added an intimate element to their wedding. Imagine a backyard dinner party with all of your favorite people, that's what I'm talking about.
I believe Ally's mom is a landscape designer, so for me it was fun to capture the beauty of their back yard (which I do at any wedding), and know that it had a more personal and meaningful element to it. It's little things like this that make my work more meaningful and enjoyable to me.
