Shack | Newberg Senior Photographs

I don't take a lot of senior portraits, but I really enjoy the ones I do. I had a lot of fun hanging out with Shack. We started out at his family's orchard and then headed into Newberg to do some shots downtown. We got a beautiful crisp day with gorgeous light and Shack was a great sport. He did all sorts of ridiculous things I asked, all with a smile. Thanks Shack.

Shack, thanks so much for hanging out with me for your senior photos!

Happy Friday everyone!

I met Matt at Jewel and Mitch's wedding this summer. I was so excited when his mom asked me to take his senior photos because he's such a cool, humble guy. A lot of guys aren't excited about having their senior photos taken and they tend to show that during the shoot. Matt didn't do this at all, he was open and even excited about the ideas I came up with, and he brought some of his own ideas that were fantastic (he wanted a shot with the woodpile, Yeya!). I'm excited that we've got seniors in high school that are as mature as Matt and that will be going out into the world.

Matt, thanks so much for letting me take your senior photos and for spending the afternoon with me!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

For Ceara's senior session, we headed to Cooper Mountain Nature Reserve a gorgeous area right outside of Beaverton. We got a perfect Oregon fall day and I had a great time hanging out with Ceara. A couple of stories from this session: When I had Ceara sit on the log, right after she stood up, a giant snake slithered out from under the logs bark! Even after this Ceara was still adventurous and willing to tromp around for the remainder of the session (thanks Ceara!). We walked a loop at the nature reserve that I thought was a lot shorter than it actually was (woops!), but Ceara and her mom were both so kind and enjoyed the hike with me (thanks guys!).

Ceara, thanks so much for having me take your senior photos! I had so much fun at your session and thanks for being so adventurous! I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their Tuesday!
